ABOUT UOVSZ
The Upper Ottawa Valley Ski Zone
(UOVSZ) is the governing body for alpine ski racing in
the Upper Ottawa Valley. The UOVSZ's mission is to provide
leadership and direction to the local alpine ski racing
community through quality membership services, guided direction
and the encouragement of individuals to participate in
alpine skiing from the grass-roots to the elite level.

UOVSZ currently comprises three member clubs that are
supporting partners on this application:

(operating out of Alice Ski Hill in Alice Township)

These three clubs offer ski and snowboard lessons, skill
development clinics and recreational experience to people
of all ages, but especially children and youth. The mandate
of these clubs is to offer alpine experiences that are
affordable, enriching and accessible to the people of
Renfrew County.
UOVSZ is a member club in good standing of Alpine Ontario,
the provincial sport organization for alpine skiing in
the Province of Ontario.
