UOVSZ PROGRAMS

Ski Instruction
- lessons from Kinderski through adult (3 years and up)

Snowboard Instruction
- lessons for children through adult (6 years and up)

Nancy Greene and Paterson Racing Programs
- lessons, coaching and competiton for young skiers
- Nancy Green racers (aged 4 to 11) compete as a team with no times posted
- Paterson racers (aged 12 to 16) compete individually with times posted
- lessons are held at the home hills on five Saturdays in January and February
- races are held at Pembroke, Petawawa and Deep River hills - mostly on Sundays
- each season usually includes races at Pakenham and/or Calabogie
- racers compete as a team with a focus on basic skills and racing techniques
- team and individual medals and awards are distributed at end of season

- racing and training towards the elite level for young skiers (aged 8 to 12)
- skiers train at Mont Ste Marie, on Saturdays mid-December through February
